Who operates this website

This privacy policy applies to the Hometown Arena website. For questions about this website's privacy practices, access or deletion requests, or concerns about published content, email admin@hometownarena.com. HYSA's association contact is for soccer-program questions; it is not identified here as the website's privacy operator.

Optional visitor analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose Accept analytics. It helps us understand website use and improve schedules and other information. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the website.

When accepted, Google receives page paths, referring-page URLs and outbound web-link domains and paths, browser/device information, approximate geography, and cookie identifiers used to distinguish browsers and visits. Our implementation removes query strings and URL fragments before sending these URLs, omits email links, and uses a fixed site title rather than individual page titles. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or form contents to Analytics. Google may process your IP address to determine approximate location; GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Counts describe browsers and visits, not verified individual people.

Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag. We do not use this analytics setup to serve personalized advertisements. Google processes data on its infrastructure, potentially outside your country. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's privacy policy.

Your choices and retention

Use at any time to accept or reject analytics. Your choice and its date/policy version are stored in this browser for up to 180 days, after which we ask again. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days without automatic renewal on each visit; they may expire earlier when you clear browser data. Rejection or withdrawal stops analytics in this browser and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. Withdrawal does not delete information already collected; contact us with a privacy request. See our cookie policy for details.

Consent choices are browser- and site-address-specific. Clearing site storage or using another browser may require a new choice. An owner/test-browser exclusion takes precedence over analytics consent. We keep privacy-request correspondence as needed to respond and manage the request; we do not promise a fixed retention period for that correspondence or hosting logs.

Your rights and processing grounds

Where applicable law provides these rights, you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, restrict or object to processing, or obtain a portable copy. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection regulator. These rights can have conditions and exceptions; contact us so we can assess and respond to your request. Optional analytics relies on your consent. Where a legal basis is required, necessary website delivery and security processing relies on our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service.

Google Analytics is currently configured to retain event-level data for two months and user-level data for 14 months. The user-data retention period resets with new activity, so an active visitor’s user-level record can be kept longer. These settings are separate from the 180-day browser cookie and consent settings. Aggregated reports can remain available beyond those event/user retention periods.

Hosting and other services

Our hosting provider, Arvixe, handles requests necessary to deliver and secure the website and may retain server logs including IP addresses, requested URLs, request times, browser information, and errors. This processing is separate from optional Google Analytics. Analytics consent does not stop ordinary hosting logs.

The website loads Google Fonts for typography. Field pages include Google Maps embeds. Those services can receive connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, when they load, independently of the Analytics setting. Links to registration, gear stores, Facebook, and other external services lead to sites with their own privacy practices. Sending us email shares the information you choose to include with us and the email providers involved.

Youth sports content

This website presents youth-soccer information and approved public media. Please do not send sensitive information about children in analytics URLs or privacy requests. Contact us to raise a concern about a published name, image, or other content, or to ask about applicable privacy rights. We may need limited information to verify and respond to a request.

Changes

We may update this policy as website practices change. Material changes to analytics choices can require renewed consent. The date above identifies this version.
