Includes game-day requirements, age-group rules, referee responsibilities, cancellations, and rescheduling. This is the original document, unchanged. Coastal rules do not replace local U8 and Dynos guidance.

Coastal teams — U10 and older

These teams play in Coastal Youth Soccer League. Use the current league competition rules and age-group guidance supplied by your coach; youth modifications can differ from the standard Laws of the Game.

Ask your coach to confirm match length, substitutions, heading restrictions, and other age-specific provisions before a game.

U8 & Dynos — local programs

HYSA/Plympton U8 and Dynos are local programs, separate from the Coastal schedule. Follow the instructions provided by your program coaches; do not assume Coastal travel rules apply.

Local cancellations and schedule changes are supplied by the program, not the Coastal feed.

Official Laws of the Game

The International Football Association Board publishes the Laws of the Game. Read these together with the applicable youth and competition modifications, not as a substitute for them.

Before you leave for the field

Check the game status, kickoff time, and location. A postponed game may still display its original date while a replacement is pending.

Selected Halifax U12 Boys home games are at Dennett in Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
